Jarek Yeager is a skilled pilot and mechanic in the animated Star Wars series, Star Wars Resistance. He is a former pilot for the Galactic Empire, having served during the reign of Emperor Palpatine.
Disillusioned with the Empire's brutality, Yeager deserted and eventually established a repair shop on the Colossus, a refueling platform on the Outer Rim ocean planet of Castilon. He became a mentor figure to Kazuda Xiono, a New Republic pilot recruited by Poe Dameron to investigate the growing threat of the First Order.
Yeager is a complex character haunted by his past. He is fiercely protective of his crew, which includes Tam Ryvora and Neeku Vozo. He is also wary of authority, stemming from his experiences with the Empire. While initially reluctant to join the Resistance, he ultimately sides with the cause, putting his skills and experience to use fighting against the First Order. Throughout the series, Yeager battles his inner demons while striving to protect those he cares about and contributing to the fight for freedom in the galaxy.
